Letter from Administration

Dear HSI-Garland Students and Families,

My name is Claudia Kongamnach and I am the principal of Harmony School of Innovation-Garland. I am honored and humbled to be able to lead a school with such exceptional students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel blessed to be part of this school and to support our students and families.

Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been in the educational field for over 15 years and have worked with students ranging in ages from Kindergarten to 12th grade in different roles. I have been an Elementary, Middle, and High School teacher, a Middle and High School Assistant Principal, and have also served as the Elementary Principal at Harmony Science Academy-Dallas. I am excited to work with you as a partner in education to provide our scholars with success.

On a personal note, I grew up in the Garland area and this community is dear to my heart. I currently live in Rowlett with my husband Nick who is also an educator, and my two sons, Cameron and Ethan.

My goal as principal is to ensure that we are providing high quality education to all scholars, along with relevant extra-curricular opportunities, that will meet the needs and interests of all students. I truly believe that every student on this campus has the ability and the potential to accomplish great things and be productive citizens. Together, we will continue to move forward and find ways to help students achieve their DREAMS.
